Beginning
June1, 2010 low income
individuals and families may submit pre-applications for rental
housing assistance through the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher
Program of the Topeka Housing Authority (THA).
Pre-applications will be accepted in
person, by mail, by fax or email from Monday to Friday, 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except holidays.

Housing Authority's Working Preference policy targets families
with a working head of household or spouse. The Working
Preference also applies to families whose head of household or
